Ford Motor Co. said Thursday it will retool it's Louisville Assembly Plant to make vehicles on the European Focus frame, beginning 2001. The company also announced it's shifting production of its large SUVs from Michigan to the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville. Ford said Thursday it lost $8.67 billion in the second quarter.
