Every Thursday night at 10pm, NewsChannel 6 will talk to area doctors to find out "What's Going Around" -- the ailments that most patients are coming in with this week.

Doctors will also make recommendations of how to treat whatever are currently the most common illnesses.

What is liposuction?
Liposuction (LYE-poe-suc-shun) is a procedure in which fat deposits are suctioned from the body using a small, hollow wand called a cannula (CAN-you-luh).
Body contouring
Though many methods of body contouring such as body wraps, creams, and massaging treatments have been promoted over the years, the only method known to be permanently effective is liposuction.
Electrolysis and waxing
Electrolysis (ee-lehk-TRAWL-oh-sihs) and waxing are two methods of epilation (ep-ih-LAY- shun), or removal of hair below the skin's surface. So far, electrolysis is the only hair removal procedure that's considered permanent by the FDA (F-D-A).
Other ways to detect ovulation
In addition to charting your basal temperature to detect ovulation, there are a few other methods you might try. If you feel a slight twinge in the lower abdomen, you might be ovulating.
Milk and fertility
Many studies show a relationship between milk intake and conception. A team of researchers in the United States and Finland report that in areas where milk consumption is highest, women tend to experience the sharpest age-related falloff in infertility.
